About the Event
Now, more than ever, we need to practice 'sitting' with ourselves and each other and holding space for compassion and presence. The benefits of meditation for ourselves and the world at large are proving to be immense.
During this 2-hour workshop, we will explore what meditation is, how we can include a practice in our day to day lives and what the effect of that could be. Most importantly, we will practice a few different techniques to begin to explore how meditation can work for us.
Meditation is a huge topic that can be studied our entire lives, but this will be a great place to start!
This is intended to be a workshop for beginners, no experience required.
